About Astra

I’ve spent most of my life in business, not just working in it, but living it.

Raised in a family business and going on to found, lead, and scale multiple companies of my own (and others), I understand what it really takes to build something that works. Not just in theory, but in the day-to-day reality of leading people, making decisions, and carrying responsibility.

Over the years, I’ve operated across 10+ industries and held founder, owner, and CEO roles in six businesses. I’ve built successful start-ups, owned a record-breaking franchise (even through COVID), and stepped into organisations during critical periods of change, including leading teams through restructure where clarity, stability, and direction mattered most.

But I also know the other side of it.

I know what it is to perform at a high level for a long time. To be the one people rely on. To move between boardrooms and basketball games, building a career while raising a family, and holding everything together in between.

That experience shapes how I work now.

I don’t believe in building businesses at the expense of the person leading them. I believe in clarity, in working to your strengths, and in creating something that actually supports the life you want to live, not just something that looks good from the outside.

I have a natural ability to see what’s possible, to bring structure to complexity, and to hold space for people while they figure things out, without losing momentum.

Most of the people I work with don’t need more ideas.

They have the vision.
They just need the right support to bring it to life.

That’s where I come in.

Speaking and Events

I’ve walked more journeys than most in my time on this earth, from the top of the mountain to middle of the battlefield, and out the other side. I’ve lived, and I’ve survived, a lot. Now I use the stories of my life to help others navigate their seasons, and realign toward what matters most. I speak on business, leadership, and building a life that you actually want to live, grounded in lived experience, not theory. After two decades of operating at a high level (and navigating burnout along the way), I bring a perspective on wellbeing and success that’s real, practical, and sustainable. Expect heart, challenge, and a bit of humour.

If that sounds like the right fit for your room, you’re welcome to get in touch.
